This project focused on identifying a symbolic element capable of visually capturing the essence of a film and transforming it into a minimalist A3 poster.

I chose Jaws for its strong visual tension and iconic imagery. The creative process moved from brainstorming and moodboarding to sketches, concept proposals, and final refinement — all aimed at expressing fear and suspense through minimal design.

The final concepts explore three key symbols from the film:
The Bite – represented through a surfboard echoing the shark’s jaws.
The Blood – using gradients to evoke tension and the ocean’s depth.
The Duality – balancing simplicity and danger through strong composition.

Typography and colors stay true to the original poster — blue for the sea, red for the title — while the minimal layout emphasizes clarity, contrast, and iconic balance.
